ValXtra – Hexaconazole 5% + Validamycin 2.5% SC is a systemic fungicide formulation containing Hexaconazole 5% w/w and Validamycin 2.5% w/w as active ingredients. It is formulated for use in Paddy (Rice) and is recommended for the management of important fungal diseases, particularly Sheath Blight and Blast.
The combination provides systemic fungicidal action and is designed to help protect the crop from disease infection and reduce disease development when used according to the recommended label directions.

How it works
Hexaconazole is a systemic fungicidal active ingredient belonging to the triazole group, while Validamycin is an antibiotic fungicidal active ingredient used particularly against diseases such as sheath blight. Their combination provides a complementary approach to disease management in paddy.
Recommended Use
ValXtra is recommended for application in paddy/rice crops for the control of:
1. Sheath Blight — a serious rice disease that produces lesions on the leaf sheaths and can spread upward through the crop canopy.
2. Blast — an important rice disease that can affect leaves and other plant parts and may cause significant crop damage under favourable conditions.
Application
Use 1000 ml of ValXtra per hectare diluted in approximately 500 litres of water and apply as a foliar spray, following the product label and local agricultural recommendations.
