Superkiller 10% EC is a pyrethroid ester group insecticide containing Cypermethrin 10% EC. It provides effective control of a range of important insect pests in crops. The product works through contact and stomach poison action, helping control insects soon after application.
Superkiller 10% EC is recommended for use in cotton, sugarcane, maize, groundnut, cabbage, cauliflower, okra, brinjal and mustard against specified insect pests. Dhanuka states that the product is highly effective in controlling insects immediately after application, even at lower doses, and has minimal crop residue, allowing application close to harvest as specified on the product information.
The official Dhanuka recommendations include spotted bollworm, American bollworm, pink bollworm, early shoot borer, hairy caterpillar, diamondback moth, shoot and fruit borer, and sawfly, with crop-specific doses ranging from 220–300 ml per acre.
